White women and white people period have a habit hijacking black liberation movements or any movement about minorities. Because of the Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation as a Supreme Court Justice, many white feminists have been outraged and brought up taking a knee during the national anthem as a way to protest. Now doesn't that sound familiar? Maybe it's because former football player, Colin Kaepernick, took knee during the national anthem to protest police brutality against blacks. The same taking a knee that so many white people were upset about now they are trying to use to promote the #MeToo Movement.  Isn't that funny?! It just doesn't make sense why taking a knee is now acceptable when white people have something to be upset about. It just screams white feminism. This is a part of why many black women don't feel connected to mainstream feminism because of its lack of intersectionality. You can't separate their racial identity and gender identity. They both coincide. White women have been complicit in the oppression of minorities and now want to hijack the movement that they started. It's contradictory and needs to stop. Since they want to take a knee, then, they should understand why it's important for blacks to protest. Unless, they don't care about the plight of blacks or don't believe that they have a plight and only care about their issues. Sounds about white.
